I am a prodigy, is what I realized after our first lesson. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our entire experience with Ballroom Dancesport and working with Michael. I have finally realized why I was given feet: TO DANCE! Michael has made me in to the footwork prodigy that I am. And I will forever be indebted for it. He seamlessly teaches in a way that is easy to learn and if we ever struggle(tough being a prodigy and all) he is able to put it in another way until it clicks. I love this studio! The owner, Michael, brings joy to so many people. I’ve seen him transform spouses, wedding couples, and complete beginners into confident dancers. Most important, everyone has fun at the studio and knows each other by name. Like all newcomers, I started off nervous, and I had zero dance background, but Michael’s fun and easy-going demeanor made the initial jitters disappear. Over the past year, I’ve learned the basic patterns and techniques of rumba, cha-cha, hustle, west coast swing, foxtrot, Argentine tango, and salsa. And for $13.50/class with a 10-lesson package, the 1 hour group classes offer an incredible deal. If you’re new to dance, come to the beginner series on Fridays at 7! You’ll find a wonderful, supportive dance community. It’s Milford’s best kept secret!

Michael was an amazing instructor. Took couple of lessons for our wedding dance on short notice and it was incredible how well he improved our dance choreography with simple techniques and taught us some easy moves that fit right into our Indian song.

Michael was awesome, especially considering we didn’t give him much time to help us polish our dance moves. As a non-dancer, I was nervous that we wouldn’t be able to pull off a good first dance. But Michael did a great job of coming up with a routine that felt comfortable and made us look good in front of our guests. Michael is flexible and accommodating with his scheduling and has an open and kind personality.
